Best Comment Ever

Well on this blog at least. Thanks Yves!

*And I'm not saying the other comments are bad either but this one is pretty substantive, I think.

Hi Terence

If it's parody I accept it. The longest monologue. I'm just sooooo much talkative... Possibly a confusion with my amateur theatre roleplaying, we're preparing for performances next month.

Btw there is a very interesting post at Maribo:

simondonner.blogspot.com/2008/02/tom-delay-and-believing-in-climate.html

about why so many people see "AGW" as an extraordinary claim.

Hi Terence,

Thank you very much, I'm so confused.

Since there is some anonymity in posting I briefly present myself: I'm 44 and French from Avignon (Provence). Not a climate specialist but as a nuclear research engineer (long-term behavior of nuclear waste confinement glasses) I'm familiar with how science works, and interested in the topic. I browsed through the blogosphere for months but my interventions are very recent (1-2 months), and I'm still somewhat immature in time managing; I'm just realizing how interventions are time-consuming!

I have a personal blog, in French and in Chinese (my wife is Taiwanese) called "chenes-verts" at Blogger (xxx.blogspot.com). We're building a house now in the region, it takes us much time but is very interesting. When you travel to Europe, if you have enough time you are welcome to visit us.

We've visited NZ once, end 2004, both islands. It was wonderful. The most surprising moment was a snowfall on the road from Christchurch to Queenstown, on Dec 18. Nearly a white Christmas in SH.

I really appreciate your blog. Keep up the good work,

Best

Yves

Hi Yves,

Thanks for your comment. I've never been to France so hope to make it there one day. Funnily enough, I nearly experienced a white Christmas in the South Island too once - if you get far enough South anythings possible I guess...

Kind regards and thanks again for your comment.
